Done!

The barn aisle is now finished... looks good!
Everyone can move their lockers back.
Please do some cleaning tho, be nice if there was not so much in the barn aisle, so maybe take home those extra tubs and things that get kicked around, and organize your stuff so it all fits in the locker???

Also, think we're done with the cold weather now. April's almost upon us. Blankets could go home, get cleaned up and stored somewhere til next winter.

Coyote Springs school

Coyote Springs held a chance to school their stadium course and a little cross-country too. We had a good time and got alot accomplished. The horses and riders all came away much more confident than they started.Weather was a bit chilly in the morning, but turned nice and warm in the afternoon. Ashley brought BeBe for their first outing in the eventing world. They aced the stadium of course, but the cross-country a bit more challenging just because it was different. And they both excelled and had fun.

Elana warming up Indee in the picture, but went on to jump alot of stadium getting higher with each round. Didn't stop at anything. Cross country school went really well, until Elana tired at the end of the day and fell from Indee down the bank. We wish her a speedy and uneventful recovery as she broke her wrist and elbow in the fall. DARN, it was going so well before that too!

Samantha took Topper to school and did a great job. Stadium fences raised and got a bit different each time. Topper did alot of looky stuff but ended up jumping beautifully. We were more than pleased with the cross country school as well, he jumped the ditch for the first time without any problems.

First show

Grace did a great job of all her training level tests, earning scores in the 60% every time.
SaraBeth earned over 60% in her training level, test 3 - - then went on to try their first time in First Level. They earned 59%!! Great for the first time out.

Sydney and Demi put in 3 First level tests to score into the 60%'s as well.
Matthew also took Aston in one training level test (sorry, no pic's!). Got thru the test in good form.

Improvement

We are planning a huge improvement here at Kinswood... new footing in the barn aisle! I idea is to raise the level of the ground, make it dust free!!! and have a solid level surface that's safe for the horses to walk on. This will result in a mess and a hassle for a short time so be patient.
ALSO - those of you with lockers in the barn aisle will have to move them. Not a fun chore. If they don't get moved by the target date, they will be moved by the workers and a bobcat. They'll be a mess inside! So, be best if all things were out of the barn aisle so the workers can quickly do their job.

Target date is March 25... that's a Monday. Gives the weekend to get things moved as you like. Hopefully the whole process will only take a day or two, then everything can go back to normal. And we'll have a nice walk way.
