Weekend shows

Several shows were going on this past weekend.
Matthew and Aston, Lauren and Wylie and Grace with Strider went to Pine Hill for their schooling horse trials. Matthew and Aston look good on cross country! but Aston was tense and didn't show well overall.

Lauren and Wiley were right on this time at Beginner Novice and scored really well in the dressage. Jumped clean both stadium and cross country to end in 3rd place in their division.

Grace and Strider had a great show. First after dressage and jumped clean in both phases for a first place in their division of Beginner Novice.

Liberty Hill also held a dressage schooling show on Sunday. Kim rode Hank to some good scores, 60%+ in the Intro classes and mid-50% in Training level. They came home with a fist full of ribbons.
Pam took Nacho to 2nd level. They had 2 really successful tests, with some 8's on some of the movements!

Well done gang!

Rose Palace schooling H/J show

Mid September was a show at the Rose Palace. We took the horses and riders that are new to the world of showing for an EARLY morning go.

It was nice to know we could catch up the field horses in the dark. AND they all loaded into a dark trailer as well as we left before the sun even thought about coming up!

Alyssa and Tucker did great in all their classes, earning ribbons. Victoria and Luke did some really easy classes as last time Luke was in a show was a bit crazy. But this time he was just like he is at home and Victoria did really well on him earning alot of ribbons in big classes. Kendall and Maverick challenged themselves with harder classes and got around clean without any real problems.

And we brought along Watson and Daphne for their first time at the Rose Palace and their first Hunter show. Watson was a bit nervous in the beginning, but SaraBeth did a great job of waiting him out and even placed! Daphne was her usual quiet self and Lauren had a good time with her, earning lots of ribbons in their classes.

Good day for all despite the early start - but we were home around noon!
