Once again

Liberty Hill show this past Sunday. Only 3 riders went from Kinswood...
Deb and Apollo showed at 2nd level, and mastered the counter canter without a mistake. Goal one done!
Pam and Nacho scored well in First Level, over 60% for a nice test.
Jessica and Jazz were the stars of the day. They entered Intro B, Intro C and Training level, test 1 - and won them all.
Congrat's to all.

Costume class at the show

The costume class was way fun. The kids went all out! Lauren and Wyland were quite the rock stars....

Kendall became Batgirl and Wally her Batman.

SaraBeth and Buddy made terrific gypsies. Buddy even sported bells on his ankles so he was musical too.

And more about the show

And Victoria at her first show riding Tucker. She did terrific, winning every time! Tucker was happy to be at his first outting in years. Did you even recognize him?

Lauren took Wyland in his first show too. They jumped around the courses in great form and Wayland proved himself to be a gentleman at a show.

Ribbons were had by all - Even Wyland thought it was a hoot!

Kendall and Victoria showing off their great work.

And Kendall got a huge trophy as division champion!

More show

Each division had one flat class and 2 jump classes in it. You had to be in all 3 for the championship or reserve. Kendall and Wally showing good form in their flat class.

Elana took Wavish in her first show. She had a great time, as you can see by the grin on her face.

Samantha rode Wally around several courses. These classes were large! and they still managed to do really well. Even tho she too is looking down.

Danielle and Ty managed to find a ride (thank you Terry) and rode in a few classes. Ty was a sport and jumped around easily.

Cassidy rode Wavish to some classes and did a good job. At least SHE'S looking ahead!

Platinum Stables show

We ventured to a new venue for us - Platinum Stables to participate in a schooling hunter/jumper show. This one is on our side of Seguin, so not too much of a travel. They had classes for all levels of riders, so we a lot of people going to give it a try. It was a great first time show for many! Rosa piloted Apollo around a couple of courses just beautifully! Looked really good. Then she got on Maximus and did some jumper classes too! Bet she was tired at the end of the day.

SaraBeth rode Buddy in a few classes. Hunters and jumpers. But really, she likes the jumper classes better. Think Buddy does too.

Taylor took Wavish around in a couple of hunter divisions. As always, once she gets him going, they do great.

Kate took Aston to his first show. He proved himself to be bold and sane for the entire process. He still doesn't know where to put his feet sometimes, but he always tries!

Sydney took Radie for a few classes and did really well too.

Monday sog

Horses are staying in yet one more day. The grounds are completely saturated and it needs another day of draining/drying before the horses should go out on it. Needless to say, the riding arenas are not useable yet either. Even trail riding is dicey at this point!

Horses are staying in for the day.
