And more Liberty Hill still

A few fun shots from the show... Topper enjoyed the birthday cake brought by Kim. Bella's leftover birthday cake was yummy... only he's not supposed to breathe it in his nose!

Diana took an opportunity between rides to take a nap...

Indee proved himself a Houdini of sorts. Kept getting loose from the trailer - no one knows how! Halter was intact, lead was intact and still tied! And clip was intact as well... and there goes Indee again, trotting off to see another horse! He did this repeatedly all day.

Group shot!! So many people they don't fit in the photo!

More Liberty Hill

Deb and Apollo did a good job of their Second level tests (sorry, photgrapher was gone at this point). The movements of the tests went smother and the quality of the entire rides improved.

Diana rode Topper to his first show. She kept Topper relaxed and focused. In fact, Topper was more relaxed than Diana! They ended up the reserve championship ribbon for their division as well.

Wally goes again with Victoria, very focused on her ride. She did a great job and came out with good ribbons.

SaraBeth had Buddy looking better than he ever has before! All that hard work is paying off. Scores broke the 60% line and good ribbons to be had.

Lauren rode Wiley to wonderfully constant rides to win a fist full of ribbons herself. All rides scored MUCH better than the first time!

Kate and RanSome had the dubious job of the first ride of the day. Made all the more difficult by the judge being over an hour late, with no advance warning when to start up... again. Needless to say, even the warm up wasn't as expected. But she did a creditable job of riding the two tests she entered and got a good feel for RanSomes' needs for warm up... on to the event for them.

March Liberty Hill show

Kinswood Farms had a big crowd competing at the March Liberty Hill show. All the riders got something out of the experience and mostly had really good rides. A few glitches in the organizers end... but we waited it out and had a lesson in how to handle things when it doesn't go as expected. Jessica and Jazz had some nice rides...

Taylor rode Indeed in his first show. Did a great job of handling his one horse monster (the judges box after they all moved up there) and a little extra time spent about it... he was just great after that. They won all their classes.

Grace and Strider started out with a bang and won their first class as well. They continued their winning ways and placed well in the next two classes as well.

Elana had Wally looking SUPER! She did so well in her classes that they won the division reserve championship.

Danielle's first dressage test was full of nerves on her part. Test two and three were terrific and she and Ty managed to break the 60% barrier. Big success for them!

Big Rain

Big, nasty thunderstorm passed thru last night. Dumped alot of rain... lots and lots of rain. Horses are staying in today, no turn out. And arenas are flooded. So no lessons today.

Spring Break fun

Warm weather and a break from the usual routine allowed the kids (and adults!) to enjoy their horses. Pond was full, and time for a swim! Horses and people had a blast!
