Best wishes..

Those of you who have been at Kinswood for years.... will remember Ashley Cotton. She worked here for years, taking care of horses, riding and teaching lessons. This weekend, Ashley got married to long time love, Brady, in Boerne. A great ceremony and Ashley was absolutely lovely. The entire population of the barn wishes her health, happiness and the best! in her new life.

Wahoo!

Sarah and Archie made the trek to Meadow Creek for a horse trials this weekend. They rode to a first place after dressage and never looked back. No penalties for cross-country or stadium! They won their division from start to finish. Congratulations!!!

Newbies

Had some new horses move into the barn last week. Jessica brought in Griffin, a lovely TB for the summer. Off to college later, but for now, a nice addition to the barn.
The Diez family brought in their two horses also. Those that have been around long enough will remember them hauling in to ride years ago. Nice to see them again and be a part of the barn!

Liberty Hill- last spring show

Only 2 riders competed in the last spring show at Liberty Hill. Jessica and Jazz continued to improve with scores and just being at shows. Deb and Apollo did their rides better too, successfully riding thru some moments of resistance.
Donna brought Wyn to school, and Wynsome was way, way more relaxed the entire show. Now, it's Donna's turn to relax!

Rain

Finally!! Rain!! Lots of it. So, no turnout today, horses are staying in the barn. And no lessons either, arenas are a flooded muddy mess today.

Big Weekend

Riders from Kinswood took off in different directions for shows this weekend.
Pam and Nacho went to their first recognized dressage show at the Rose Palace. Nacho's first! He was very nervous in the beginning, but settled beautifully to compete in 2 classes at First Level. Super scores, good ribbons - the day was a success!

Sarah rode Archie and Kate took Nate to Weatherford TX for the Greenwood Horse Trials. Stellar rides by all placed them in 4th - all of them!
