One more day

Friday is looking like less rain.. but the grounds are so sloppy wet we are leaving the horses in one more day. Also, water is still sitting on the arenas, so don't plan on riding today.

Again more rain

Thursday brings more of the same. Horses are staying in and no lessons happening. Grounds still saturated sloppy wet and more rain looks like it's on the way.

More rain

Wednesday brings more rain. Looks like it's gonna rain all afternoon again.
Horses are staying in once again and lessons are cancelled. Grounds are sloppy muddy.
Keep your eye on conditions - lots of plans this weekend with the Nancy Fair clinic and Liberty Hill show scheduled. They may all end up being cancelled if this continues.

Rain again

Mid morning today - Tuesday, Sept. 22 - the rains began again. Horses stay in today as we saw this one coming. No lessons today, arenas are wet once again.

Rainbow

Rainbow was seen over Kinswood this evening.
Maybe this means the end of the rain?

Sunday Sun

Sunday morning has some sun breaking thru the clouds. And no rain overnight for the first time in 4 nights. SO, most of the horses are going out today - Larson's field and the bottom field are still too muddy to use yet.
Don't plan on riding yet, there is still water sitting on the arenas and they are really saturated now. Give them another day or so to dry thoroughly.

More rain Saturday

Got a bit hopeful for some drying up Friday as no rain fell on Kinswood Friday. But Saturday morning comes along and ... it's raining again. Looks like it's gonna rain all morning. No turn out again! and no riding again.

Friday is still wet

More rain Thursday afternoon and a bit more during the night, STILL leaves the grounds soggy. And it looks like more is coming later today. So, once again the horses are staying in. They have been surprisingly good during their incarceration - think they don't want to be out in it either!
And you can forget about lessons, the horses would be slipping around up past their ankles!

And more rain . . .

Thursday (Sept. 10) produces more rain again. Horses are once again staying in the barn and no lessons will be happening as the arenas now look like lakes.

More Rain Wednesday

Once again rain is falling. In torrents right now. After an inch of rain overnight, now this rain this morning, there's no chance to ride today. Horses are safely tucked away in the barn today too, to stay for the day.
Yeah! Rain!

Yipee! Rain!

Saturday night - Sept. 5 - the skies finally opened on Kinswood. By Sunday morning there was more than an inch in the rain gauge.
Horses are going out still - as the rain is soaking into the parched ground fast.
But the arenas are really wet. Standing water and muddy in the jump arena. Don't plan to use the arenas til maybe this evening. Unless of course, we get more rain.
It's so welcome!
