She's baaaaack....

Juliet returns. Seems she had some separation anxiety that the new owners felt incapable of dealing with. So, we took her back, rather than have everyone unhappy. Darn! A few more weeks would have probably settled the matter, but they didn't want to deal with it. We'll try again...

Cold and wet

Monday brings a front in that is cold and wet. Horses are staying in the barn today! They are happy about that. Looks like this will last thru Wednesday afternoon, so they'll stay in for a few days. Don't count on lessons either for Tuesday or Wednesday.

Juliet

Wish Juliet a fine life... she has finally found a new owner. The young lady is excited about having her and Juliet seems to like her as well. We will miss her cute face, but it was time she found a person of her own.

Rain, rain

Friday dawns raining and raining and raining. No lessons today and the horses are staying (happily) in the barn. Nancy Fair clinic will definitely not happen on Saturday.. we are still waiting to see when the rain stops to know if it will happen Sunday.

Liberty Hill November show

The show Sunday was a great success for our riders. Had a large crowd going this time, it was the last show til springtime. And not raining! Kate rode her new horse Nate. First test was tense as they get to know each other at a show. After that, it was great - good scores and good ribbons.

Donna and Santiago rode their best as well. More accurately ridden tests than ever before gave her better scores than ever before.

Deb took Apollo back in the show ring after a few years hiatus. A bit nervous at first! But they settled down to do nice tests to earn good scores.

SaraBeth took Buddy and did good consistant rides, even jumped a level of competition to get good scores.Sarah and Archie are just getting better and better with each show. Getting more consistant and accurate in riding the tests than ever before.
Kim rode Sadie too - best scores ever.

T-Shirts, Sweatshirts, raincoats anyone?

Kim Henke is getting an order ready for embroidered goods. Here's what she says:

Hi All, I am putting together a shirt/jacket/vest/pad/etc. order for Kinswood items. You can either purchase the shirts, etc through me (except for saddle pads) or give me something you already have that you would like to have embroidered with the Kinswood logo. We can do shirts, saddle pads, blankets, sweatshirts, jackets, vests, etc. The key is that I have to have them before Thursday of this week so we can have them back in time for Pine Hill. If you want the polo shirts, they generally run around 20-25$ for adult and about $18-20 for youth sizes. Embroidery only on an item you provide is about $7-10 per item. You do not have to pay until we get the stuff back.

Contact Kim if you'd like to order something.

Rain again

Here it is Monday morning (Nov. 9) and it still looks like it did yesterday after the rain. Grounds are really slick muddy and just plain hard to walk around on this morning. Horses are staying in one more day. They'll go out tomorrow as it will be good by then.
