Liberty Hill show

First show of the fall season was this past Sunday - Liberty Hill schooling dressage show. We had just 2 riders compete - Donna on Santiago and Danielle on Wally. Donna did great! With scores in the mid-50's, winning her a 1st and 2nd place in training level, tests 3 and 4. Danielle also did great with Wally, scores also in the mid-50's earning them a 2nd and 4th place in training level, tests 1 and 2.
Kim brought along Sadie to see how she'd be at a show. Totally pleased as Sadie was well behaved at the trailer and to ride. Nice to know!
And Pam brought Beamer to just school and was delighted at how well that went.
Everybody ready to do it again!

Liberty

It's with great sadness that we report the passing of Liberty. Many of the students at Kinswood got their first ride on this horse, he taught many a lesson. Tiffany and Jackie gave him a good life from the moment they bought him. Tiffany competed with him for many years, doing jumpers, dressage and eventing. When she retired him, he taught her mother, Jackie to ride. Since retiring as a lesson horse, he's spent the remainer of his days on their property, happily munching grass daily. He was 30 years old.

Best Wishes

Just in -
Ronnie, one of our new horse owners, rider and barn help is in the hospital. With appenditis! We ALL wish her well and speedy recovery!

Dressage show

The big dressage show at the Rose Palace was held once again. Thanks to all the Kinswood crew! All of you were the best at volunteering - there were lots of Kinswood Farms shirts dotting the landscape and helping out. What a great bunch of people!

SaraBeth and Kate had a chance to join in the Kendall County Fair Parade.
Kinda fun, huh?
