The trek to Pine Hill was a good trip. The weather was great, the grounds in good shape. Full show, so divisons were full. One moment of Yikes as Kim didn't have an assigned stall when we arrived. The organizers found someone that lived close by willing to give Hank a stall, whew! Aren't eventing people the best??
This cross country course at Pine Hill this year was very different. Tracks were longer. Everything was timed, even the Green As Grass divison. Jumps weren't difficult, but the time on the lower levels left everyone with time penalties.
Lauren had a good dressage ride.
Stadium went well, rode around that course easily. Cross country rode well too, they ended up in 3rd place.
SaraBeth on Louie had a tension filled test. Stadium had a rail down, but look at SaraBeth's grin. She's having fun!
Cross country went clean too. Altho way too fast, almost got her eliminated for too fast! She had a blast!
And look, Kim's in the background jump judging!
Samantha had a good ride on Topper for the dressage, 2nd place! But the pair had a melt down in stadium and racked up alot of points.
Back together again on cross country and things went really well. Samantha came home happy - and the horse did too!
Alyssa had a great dressage ride, 3rd after dressage.
She rode Wally over the stadium course really well. Cross country went good too, had some time penalties so it dropped her down to 4th. Good showing for the first time!
Kim also had a good dressage test, 3rd.
Stadium went clean too. Cross country went well, altho Kim had to stay on top of Hank, he was ready to really RUN. She managed to keep him under control. Ended up with some time penalties, but 4th place isn't so bad either!
Good weekend!
