Sunday sun

After Saturday's all day rain, the sun is out Sunday and it's a great day. The horses are going out today, even tho it is still really wet this morning. But it will dry quickly now. The arenas are still not ready to be used, so wait another day for that one.

Again

Again with the rain on the weekend.... Rains Friday night thru Saturday morning means the grounds are a muddy mess again. Horses stay in today, arenas too wet to ride in.

Fall Liberty Hill show

First show at Liberty Hill of the fall season was Sunday. Kim and Hank were the only takers. And boy, oh, boy did they have a good show!! Intro C they won with a 67%!! Then on to Training level test 1 and 2 - the scoring gets a bit tougher. But they still managed to get scores 58% + 57% and came home with ribbons in all classes. Hank didn't make it really easy on the last test, he'd had enough. But Kim rode him thru it. Well Done!

Wednesday rain

Rained quite a bit late this morning.... rain gauge says another 3/4". It's left the arenas soggy and not suitable to ride in.

Jump show

Rose Palace Jump show

Last Sunday Samantha took Topper to the Rose Palace for the jumper show. After a rocky start of nerves - both Topper's and Samantha's they settled into the groove and took off. 3rd place ribbon in the 2'9" division. Ribbons also in the 3' and 3'3" divisions! What a great day! even the weather was pleasant.

Finally some rain!

Heavy rains Friday evening has left the grounds pretty muddy. We haven't seen that much rain at once in a long time! Horses are staying in today - it's too wet to walk around or even ride.
The cooler temperatures are sure nice tho! In the 60's this morning. A fine mist still blowing in too.
