And more rain

Tuesday morning brought even more rain. We are racking up the inches... 3/4" on Sunday, 3" Monday and another 1 3/4" overnight into Tuesday morning. Don't think we are done yet either...
Horses continue to be kept in the barn, no turn out. No lessons as the arenas are flooded. I'll bet even trail riding at this point is dicey!

And more rain

Monday is just plain wet. It's raining buckets and buckets. Arenas are now lakes.
Horses are staying in. They are actually happy about that. Don't count on a Tuesday lessons folks, it won't be dry enough by then.

Rain!

Sunday morning it finally!!! rained for real.
The horses are staying the day in the barn to avoid the deep mud in the fields. Arenas all have standing water. Kinda sad if you wanted to ride, but we are thankful for the rain!

May Liberty Hill

A new bunch of competitors tried Liberty Hill this time. Jill took Aria to do some Intro classes and did mighty well. The horse was quiet and attentive to the job and they took home some ribbons and decent scores.
Jennifer took Rusty for her first outing in a year. Jennifer did a good job of test and.. Success! 4th place at Training level one.
Kim rode Hank and improved on her rides nicely. Even a 75% in one test!! Wow.
Rosa rode Maximus in her first dressage show. And she did great! Good ribbons in both Training Level classes and she's getting more relaxed at doing it too!
And Lucia got to ride Snowman around and school some. The pony was well behaved and they had a blast.
