Rained out

Monday night big rains fell... Very wet Tuesday. Horses are not getting turned out today and there will be no lessons Tuesday as the arenas are too wet to ride in. We'll reschedule...

April Liberty Hiill

The gang from Kinswood Farms did a terrific job of the show at Liberty Hill this past weekend. Terri took Radie in her first show in ages and ages and won! Just goes to show, you just don't lose it all. Matthew took Aston and had much better rides than last time.

Sydney rode Demi in First Level and did quite well.

Grace and Strider won their first class and kept up the great scores on the other 2 classes to win the division championship.

Kate took Louie to ride in her first dressage show with him. They did quite well with scores in the 60%, and come home with the reserve championship in their division.

Well done everyone!

Rain again

Another Wednesday morning, and rain just hit hard. Horses are staying in the barn today. Weatherman says it's gonna clear up this afternoon, so, if we get no more rain, at least the dressage arena will be okay to ride in.

Update

Chantelle had a nasty fall yesterday while riding - saddle slipped sideways as the girth wasn't tight. She hit her head on a standard on the way down. Hard to stay on the horse from a sideways saddle...
Rushed to the hospital as the EMS said it was protocol for a head injury.
They released her yesterday late afternoon and she's home with a mild concussion and lots of soreness. But no major injuries - thank goodness!!!
We are so glad she's on the mend, everyone was concerned!

Day after

No rain today, but things are really sloppy as we had a good amount of rain. Lessons are cancelled and arenas shouldn't be used yet. We've got some wind and sometimes sun, hopefully by Friday it will be good.
Horses did go out today however.

Rain

Good rains coming down today. Horses are tucked away in the barn, nice and dry - happy they don't have to be out in it. No lessons today as the arenas all have standing water on them.
