Eventers do good again!

Sarah and Kate ventured to Texas Rose Event way far away in north east Texas. Whew, it was hot and muggy they said. Sarah had a few problems with the dressage this time, but rallied in the jumping phases to a 5th place. Archie's jumping in fine form here!

Kate and Nate did well after dressage and stadium jumped around without a problem. Cross country went well too, but Kate just had to try to hit the finish line at EXACTLY the optimum time and went over by 2 seconds. That gave her 8 penalty points and really knocked down her standing. Won't try that again!

It's very fun to go to new places and try out the different courses. Both ladies did a great job.

Triple H Entertainment

The entertainment at Triple H was fun. The best was the trick roper - he was very interactive with the audience and a great sense of humor. He managed to rope both Elana and Alyssa handily...

And had Lauren tied up in knots!

After that there was a presentation of Peruvian Pasos and a parade of breeds the therapy center uses. Once again, we see Spot, Poker and Laz!

Fun stuff.

Scavenger Hunt

Triple H Equitherapy hosted a mounted scavenger hunt this past Saturday. Altho it was pretty hot, everyone had a good time scouring the countryside looking for the pieces of the scavenger hunt. Food was great, entertainment (more of that later) was ... well ... entertaining.
