Yard Sale!

Hey, everyone....
You may already know that Kate Lydon is moving to Germany in a month - we'll miss her, but hope she gets the chance to ride some lessons there. What a great opportunity!

Her family is having a huge yard sale this Friday and Saturday. They have everything to sale, farm stuff, horsey stuff, house stuff... the list is huge. Go by and check it out! Catch Kate and she can tell you more - directions too.

The show at Colonel Russell's place was a huge success for our riders.

Taylor and Sunset winning a ribbon.

Sarah and Wavish came home with a couple blue ribbons.

SaraBeth tried her first jumper class with Buddy and did an outstanding job.

Kate rode Juliet in a couple low jumper classes and had a couple good rounds.

Ashley rode Wally to some fine jump rounds to win a reserve championship ribbon in her division.

The clouds were building all day and finally the storm chased us home. Heavy rains and lightning put an early end to the show so the higher jumper classes didn't get a chance to go.

Rain!

The predicted rain came in earlier than expected. Before noon, the huge storm dumped alot of rain here. Danielle was quick to bring the horses back in.
Horses will be staying in Sunday as the grounds are really saturated.

And the Liberty Hill dressage show has been cancelled.

Clinic Saturday

Nancy Fair came Saturday for a round of dressage lessons. All riders came away riding better than ever!

Here's Deb and Apollo perfecting their shoulder-in.

Blankets

It's really hot folks... and it's May. I think you all can take home your horse blankets, wash them and store them. They are collecting dust, spiders and webs!

Rescheduled show

Col. Russell has rescheduled the hunter/jumper show to May 16th, a Saturday again.
Good date for us... we'll do it!
