Indian Creek Dressage show

Didn't have many people go to the Indian Creek dressage show this past weekend. The first show of the season on a Saturday caught most people by surprise. Karen and Dominic did some first level classes to !hurray! no bucking. Brittany brought along Charlie just to school as he hasn't been many places yet. Kate Boggan rode Buddy to some good scores and a good ribbon in the second class. SaraBeth entered the dressage equitation class... and won! Smiles all around.

Help for the Dressage show

Hey, the dressage association is looking for help at the big dressage show at the Rose Palace. Here's a blurb from Karen... contact her if this sounds like something you'd like to do.

My name is Karen Silvers, and I am once again organizing (with Debra Peterson's help) the volunteers for the ADA show at the Rose Palace April 5 and 6, 2008. If you are interested in volunteering, please e-mail me and let me know which position you are interested in and what day(s) and time(s) you will be available. We plan to have a training session on bits for the gatekeepers as we get closer to the show for those of you who are first-time gatekeepers. Thank you for considering volunteering for these vital positions! Sincerely,Karen Silvers

Rain, rain . .

We've been looking for rain, and now looks like we'll get it. Weather forecast for Saturday says rain, thunderstorms and maybe even some real serious stuff. We'll leave the horses in today and no lessons - everything's been cancelled. So far, not enough rain to make the dressage arena unusable, but you would be wet by the time you were done with the constant light drizzle coming down.
Sunday supposed to be beautiful, so if the ground stays nice, back to the normal schedule tomorrow.

Thanks

Just wanted to extend a thanks to those who pitched in and helped this weekend. Kim did turn out with some help from Sarah one day. Courtney picked up the bring ins and stalls were done with Kim, Sarah, Diane, Kate and Courtney all taking some. It all went pretty smoothly for the horses - and that's the important part.
Thanks to all!
