And more rain in the evening, makes it impossible to ride Saturday and the horses will not go out Saturday. Enough already!

Again rain

We managed to dodge the rain til last night. The downpour began as the 6 o'clock lessons got underway. Halted last night's lessons. This morning looked like it was going to dry up for the evening rounds, then at 2 o'clock, here it comes again. So! Once again we are cancelling lessons for Friday night - sorry all you guys entered into the Marcos show. Hope you know it well!

Mounted!

Finally, no rain means that we can get something going on a consistant basis. That means that the young horses are continuing their education. Tank got his first official ride Sunday - and it all went off without a problem.

Drying

Looks like it's drying up. By Sunday evening the arenas will be rideable. Still have mud on some areas and water still seeping out of the ground in places, but the arenas are good.

And more

Rain continues Friday - and there's no where for it to go! It's so wet, there will be no lessons Friday or Saturday. And the horses will be in still. If you come out, stay parked along the road and bring your mud boots.

Rain again

Okay everyone, looks like no lessons on Thursday as the rain has begun again. Horses are staying in today too. sigh.

Apollo and Lily are stars. You'll have to pick up the Boerne newspaper, The Boerne Star & Recorder... on the back page there is a picture of Apollo and Lily. This was taken when we all went to the Triple H trail ride in June. Hard to tell, but we think it's Trisha and Lady and Kate and Wally in the rear. That was fun to see...
