Today, the horses in the big field and the mares will go out. But the rest of the place is still ankle deep in mud. Trail riding is probably ok, but riding in the arenas is still not good. Another nice day should dry us out enough to ride.

More rain
The last week of December seems to finally drop lots of rain. Friday's rainfall was heavy at times and the place got a real soaking. Even hail! But the arenas are underwater and more rain on the way. Don't plan on riding for a few days - it will take that long to soak in. We will even leave the horses in the barn for the next day or two til the grounds dry. If you think your beast will go stir crazy, come take him out for a bit and give him a break from the stall.

Merry Rainy Christmas?
Rain again everyone. Lots of it. Looks like the horses will stay in Sunday and Monday and don't count on riding those days either. Too bad, as many of you will want to try out your new Christmas horsey stuff. But it's all under water or mud right now and more on the way.

Leftovers, forgot, just plain didn't know...
Ya'll were having such a good time at the barn party that much was forgotten and left behind. SO, under the little tree in the clubhouse, you'll find the gifts that you - forgot and left behind - or didn't know you had (everyone got something!) - or just weren't here to pick up. Also, any food containers left behind will be in the lost and found box for awhile, so pick those up too!

Barn Party!!
The Christmas barn party at Kinswood Sunday was a blast. Had the chance to catch up with old friends, eat some great food, see some great gifts. Highlight of the day was the bran mash mixed for the horses with carrots and apples in it. The kids really got INTO it!

Christmas Barn Party
For those of you that can't remember, or are too far out there to know.. The Christmas Barn party is Sunday at 2:30 til dark. We'll do the usual, as it's way too much fun to change a thing. Open to anyone - this is a great chance to catch up with old friends (human and equine), relax and just have a good time.

Clinic
This weekend's clinic with Greta Peterson was attended by many! Had alot of auditors and participants despite the rotten weather. The cold chased away many Saturday and the light rain chased away the Sunday crowd, but all rode inspite of it. Think everyone loved the lesson they got, Greta was sympathetic and kind and very knowledgeable. Improvements made by all. Cary taped some of the rides as well, and couldn't resist getting his mug on film too...

Wow!
Sarah did a wonderful thing... she's made stockings for all the horses. All of 'em! And last night played Santa Claus and put them up in the barn. How nice is that? And fun! You'll have to cruise down the barn aisle and take a look!
