Field Trip for Polo and Samson

Diane and Diana took Polo and Samson on a field trip to the library this morning. They were a huge hit! Samson stood around looking very handsome, getting lots of loving and grooming. Polo, being his good calm self, gave the kids rides. More than 50 kids and parents were thrilled by the demonstration and will probably be talking about Kinswood for quite awhile! Weekend fun

While most of us were inside to get away from the rainy weather, Pam and Debra went to a clinic on freestyle riding. They rode with wonderful instructors, and wonderful people and wonderful horses. They rode in pairs, single and quadrilles and a whole bunch of people! They had lectures, learning opportunities and great fun. Even perfected their own Pas De Deaux to music. What a great time they had.

Weekend Rain

We recieved welcome rain this weekend. Both Saturday and Sunday. Bad news is, the arenas are unrideable. The good news is the dust is gone, the ground has softened and the grass will green up again.
Probably all will be back to the usual schedule by Monday.

Scavenger Hunt

Saturday's Scavenger Hunt at Triple H was a good time. We hauled alot of horses there - as many as we could find trailer space for! Everyone's horses were well behaved and no one got lost out on the trails. Great opportunity to mingle and see some old friends. Our former lesson horse was part of the show!! Good to see Spot looking so well.

Shirts

Shannon has set up for us someone to embroider shirts with the Kinswood logo. You have to supply your own shirt. Drop it in the box in the clubhouse with $10 to get the embroidery done and Shannon will take it to get it done. It's a deal. We've been showing in pale yellow polos, but they'll embroider other shirts too.
