Farewell Nate

Nate is losing his battle with kidney disease. A very rare condition in horses, he's been suffering form this problem for a long time. Some changes in his diet and some vet work rallied him for a few months and we were hoping for the best. But now, his one remaining working kidney is shutting down. The very difficult decision to put him down before he suffers hugely was made.
Hearts and prayers go out to Kate and her family, it's been a very hard time to try to save this super horse.

Love is defined by recogonizing a kindred spirit. It is never so evident, as the love for a horse developes with its rider. The spirit of horse and rider are eternal, such is the saving grace for that love to develope in. Never have we seen such evidence of that kind of relationship as we have with Nate, Kate and his family. Thank you for allowing us to share in that love. Our prayers and thoughts are with you! Debra, Wade, Apollo and La.
