Liberty Hill in November

This was the last Liberty Hill show of the season. Hannah took Cedric to his first dressage show ever - and it was a great success. They did Training Level 1, 2 and 3 and all scored in the 60%'s. Came home with blue ribbons and red ribbons and a reserve championship for the division. Congrat's!
Kim and Sadie had a relaxed first test that scored pretty good. The second test Sadie had some stored up tension that marred her test. By the third test, Sadie was plainly ready to just get outta there, and Kim handled a run-off pretty darn good! Didn't even let her leave the arena, even if she did try.

Debra and Apollo are still working on those second level tests - some of which still needs work. But these canter lengthenings sure looked good. Some parts are REALLY there.
Next schooling dressage shows will start up again in March.

You all look great! Sadie has really come a long way----did she try to escape the arena?

Did they only allow pale colored horses to show?

All in all, it was a fun outing! To answer Diana's question, Sadie had some rocket starts on her canter departs and I had to crank her in pretty hard. But it's a process and we will continue to improve. It can only get better.

I think there were at least 10 grays at this show - more than I have ever seen at one show.
