Leopold finds a "person"

Our favorite young personality - Leopold - has been sold. Someone feel in love with him and just had to have him. He passed his vet exam today with flying colors and is due to leave Saturday for Wisconsin. Good thing he has all that hair now!

We will miss his engaging face everyday at the barn, but glad to see him go to someone who's so excited about having this nice horse. He's already got new halters and blankets waiting for him!
So say your goodbyes everyone - he accepts lots of carrots, apples and treats!

This is Gail Haskins, Leopold's new "person". Actually, I am from Illinois but Leopold will be kept on a very nice farm right over the Wisconsin border. It's not always the frozen north, but last week when I rode in one degree above zero weather, my water bottle did freeze solid in the tack room. All of Leopold's fans will be glad to know we are expecting a big warm-up before his arrival and he will have many curious new horse friends to greet him. I will indeed send reports and pictures. GH

The loading process with Leopold was uneventful.. Leopold looked at that big trailer, and big ramp and just stopped and peered in. The hauler went inside to arrange the space for him and hang a hay bag. That's all it took, he was in! He left with a big box stall to travel in, luxury accommadations.
What a great guy this is!
