New home

Chester found a new home today with Emily. She fell in love with him and just had to take him home. She's happy with his calm, quiet demeanor and is excited about the prospect of training him. We wish Chester and Emily a good life together!

Thanks so much for the congrats!

I wish I'd had a camera with me when we introduced them all. Zeph was arched up and prancing about excitedly, trying to keep Chester away from everyone else, and Chester was very unimpressed by his showboating. Zeph got a little bossy, but once we separated the two of them from the other horses, they got along great. Throughout all the introduction confusion, Chester never once lost his cool. In fact, I think he might have stopped grazing to canter 10 strides total while the other 3 horses rocketed around like maniacs. I think he'll be a great influence on Zeph. I just hope the influencing doesn't go the other way!

ps. We're considering changing Chester to Chet, though Kevin is still coming up with names. So far I've had to veto the names Darren, Richard and Mike Douglas.
